What I Learned from Module 2: Digital Marketing Basics
Introduction:
I have recently finished Module 2, and in this module, I learned many important marketing concepts. It mainly focused on setting goals, understanding marketing strategies, analyzing competitors, identifying the USP, and using tools like SWOT analysis.
What I Learned:
One of the most important things I learned is how to set SMART goals. A SMART goal should be specific, measurable, attainable, relevant, and time-bound, which helps make goals clearer and easier to achieve.
I also learned about the difference between soft goals and hard goals, as well as the different types of goals and marketing strategies. In addition, I understood how important it is to identify the USP (Unique Selling Point), because it helps a business stand out in the market.
Another key tool I learned about is SWOT analysis, which helps identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. This analysis is very useful for understanding the current position of a business and making better strategic decisions.
Personal Insight:
From this module, I realized that the most important step in marketing is clearly identifying your goal. Once your goal is clear, it becomes much easier to define your USP and build a strong position in the market. This module helped me see marketing in a more structured and strategic way, instead of just random ideas.
