What Is Digital Marketing?
Digital marketing is a way of marketing businesses by using digital channels to promote products, such as social media, email, search engines, websites, web-based advertising, and mobile apps, and these digital channels are used to connect with customers.
What are the digital marketing careers?
There are different job roles in the marketing field, such as a digital marketing coordinator, digital marketing manager, social media specialist, search engine optimisation (SEO) specialist, E-commerce analyst, email marketing specialist, and an AI marketing specialist.
What are the most essential skills in this field?
There are also some essential skills in this field, including data analysis, creating social media posts, identifying customer demographics, and planning large projects.
Personal Insight:
AI can be used a lot in digital marketing, but we must consider optimizing everything after using it. Also, I have noticed that almost all of the roles in the marketing field need to monitor metrics of the data, which I believe helps a lot with understanding the customers and their needs to upgrade the products and initiatives, so it would reach the targeted audience.
Simple Application:
A small local bakery uses Facebook to promote its shop so it reaches the targeted audience in the closest areas.
